U15′s v Waterloo
This fixture was played on Sunday September 25th, at Thomas Ashton School Kick off 10.30am. The starting line up for this match was,
Hayden Roberts (GK), Matthew Buckley, Alex Philpot, Elliot Blenkinsop (Capt), Farhan, Nathan Beckles, Conor Fletcher, Cam Dooley, Murthaz, Jacob Knowles Iffy.
We knew this was going to be a tough game as Waterloo was league leaders, the home team dominated the start and most the first half, they took the lead on 9 minutes, and this was quickly followed by a further two, for the home team to take a 3-0 lead into halt time.
Second half followed the same pattern as the first and Waterloo ran out deserving 5-1 winner.
“Managers Thoughts”
The result of this game was not a disappointment to me, it was the manner of some team members performance, we had a fantastic season last season, and im sure some members of the team are still living on that, the past is the past we are in a higher division and this willl find out the players who have got it in them for a fight.
