Mossley knew beforehand that this weekend’s match was going to be very tough and despite being on the wrong end of a 9-4 scoreline there were still positives to be taken from the game. Credit to Signol who are a footballing side that play the game in the right way and their players all looked comfortable on the ball making it easy to see why they are doing so well this season. Mossley fought hard but perhaps gave a little too much respect to their opponents, who were ‘a big team’ that looked intimidating but were certainly not dirty. The four goals Mossley scored are the most Signol have conceded in a single game this season, so that is something to be pleased about.
